Rheumatic diseases occupy the 3rd place among the causes of disability in people

Rheumatic diseases have more than 100 nozological forms and occupy the third place among the causes of disability after cardiovascular and oncologic diseases. Annually rheumatoid arthritis became the cause of disability at 80 thousand patients; half of them are in working age. The number of disabled children with rheumatic diseases has increased in 24% since 2000.
