Nurse's Day is celebrated on May, 12.

A two-day Kazan Mammology Forum-2018 was opened today. The best physicians and experts from Russia and CIS countries have gathered at one site to discuss topical issues of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Eugene Y. Maslova is a small woman. Looking at her, I can not believe that she is a hundred years old, half of them she worked as ophthalmologist in the eye department of Republican Clinical Hospital. She can talk about her patients for hours, but she does not like to remember the war.

All Russia has celebrated the 73-th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This date is filled with a special meaning for our country.

The procession of the "Immortal regiment" became one of the most spectacular events. Thousands of people passed in a column with photos of war heroes. Representatives of the medical community of Tatarstan Republic took the active part in this event. TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov, staff of Health Ministry, heads and employees of healthcare institutions took part in the campaign. It should be noted that the procession of the "Immortal regiment" was held not only in Kazan, but also in different cities and regions of Tatarstan Republic.

Kazan Mammology Forum 2018 will take place in Kazan Riviera Hotel Complex on May, 11-12. The best physicians and experts from Russia and CIS countries will gather to discuss topical issues of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The forum will bring together more than 300 specialists: oncologists, radiation therapists, chemotherapists, mammalogists, radiologists, pathomorphologists, surgeons and specialists of other related professions.

I express my gratitude to veterans for their contribution to the Victory of our country in the Great Patriotic War on behalf of TR Health Ministry, the medical community and myself.

These days there are a lot of events dedicated to the celebration of the Great Victory Day. Each of them finds its response in the hearts of those who approached Victory Day.

Solemn event for veterans took place at Kazan Hospital for War Veterans on the eve of the 73rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. TR Health Minister M. Sadykov, Chairman of the Committee of public organization of veterans of war and military service of Tatarstan Republic A. Yulashev, Deputy Chairman of Republican Council of public organization of veterans of  Tatarstan Republic E. Vainer took part in the event.

The staff of Medical University Clinic held a solemn event called "Soldier halt", dedicated to the holiday of the Great Victory. Festive concert for veterans, staff of the clinic and patients was organized on the territory of the surgical building of the clinic. The festival was accompanied by tasting of real soldier's porridge with stewed meat.

Nurses celebrate their professional holiday on May, 12. Seven teams from seven healthcare institutions took part in the competition program "Profession of good hearts" on the eve of Victory Day. They devoted their small victories to all residents of the oil region, patients, fellow fans and themselves.
