Results- 2018 have been summed up in Children's Municipal Hospital with Perinatal Center of Nizhnekamsk. The birth rate per 1,000 people in the Nizhnekamsk region was 11.2 (average in TR-12). Experts note a slight decrease in the birth rate compared to 2016 and 2017. More than 144 thousand women and more than 58 thousand children receive medical care in NMD. About 15 thousand patients received treatment in Children's Municipal Hospital in 2018. There is a tendency to reduce the incidence among children from 0 to 14 years old according to head physician Ramil Khamidullin. But this figure increased among adolescents from 15-17 years old.

The lesson on oral hygiene for children of MBEI "Secondary school №1" of Vakhitovsky district of Kazan was held by the staff of Children's Dental Clinic №5 of Kazan together with the students of the dental faculty of the 5th year of KSMU, undergoing practical training. The lesson was held in the framework of the project "School dentistry".

Children learned that it is useful to eat and how to clean teeth, oral hygiene, they also determined the hygienic index of the oral cavity by the method of Fedorov-Volodkina. Children received calendars for cleaning teeth as homework. Dentists will return to school in a month and will check their homework.

 

The patient-volunteer organization "We are together" together with Republican blood Center of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic will hold a charity campaign "Andrey" to collect blood for palliative patients on February 4 and 5. 

Schedule of closing maternity hospitals and departments for disinfection in Tatarstan Republic in 2019 (in accordance with the Resolution of Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare dated May 18, 2010 № 58 "Approval of SANPIN 2.1.3.2630-10 Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organizations engaged in medical activities").

The incidence of tuberculosis in Nizhnekamsk has decreased in 45%, and mortality – in 70% over the past 10 years. Last year, tuberculosis was found in 69 residents of the city and district, 6 cases in children younger seven years old. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis (of kidneys and backbone) was found in two cases. The disease was detected by fluorography in 45 adults and after the Mantoux test in children. TB doctor of TB dispensary Valentine Mozhnaya read this lecture at the University of the third age.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Children's Dental Clinic №9 of Kazan in Yamashev av. The building was renovated.

Representatives of Healthcare Department of the Voronezh region and the leadership of Voronezh State Clinical Emergency Hospital have visited Kama Children's Medical Center (KCMC) in Naberezhnye Chelny. The purpose of the visit was to study the experience of practical work in KCMC on the implementation of the recommendations of Roszdravnadzor, the organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities, as well as the functioning of the quality management system.

Medical students began to provide medical assistance to the population of Zainsky district of Tatarstan Republic in the framework of the campaign "Medical expedition in VFR" on January, 28. Representatives of the Udmurt Republic, the Samara region, the Saratov region, the Republic of Mari El, the Chuvash Republic, the Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan take part in the campaign. Students of Kazan State Medical University and other universities will provide medical and targeted social assistance to the rural population of the district during ten days.
