An expert meeting on the system of organization of medical care and models of consolidated financing of drug supply for patients with rare diseases was held in Kazan. 

Regional training of volunteer-physician took place on October, 28. Head of Healthcare Department of Kazan Ilnur Khalfiev and head physician of Republican Clinical Hospital Rafael Shavaliev have appeared at the opening ceremony.

Physicians estimate the condition of the abandoned newborn girl from Nizhnekamsk as stable. The newborn girl was found in a dumpster in Nizhnekamsk on the night of October, 27. A woman gave birth to a child at home and left her near the house where she rents an apartment. The passer-by found the baby and called an ambulance.

The second final round of the Republican competition for the best lecture material on male health among students of Kazan State Medical University and Kazan Federal University was held in Republican Center of Medical Prevention. The aim of the competition is to motivate health professionals to promote healthy lifestyles among the population and the prevention of diseases in men.

Cardiologists of Nizhnekamsk Central Regional Multi-profile Hospital (NCRMH) were trained in courses for raising qualification. They passed the final exam to obtain a certificate. Associate Professors of cardiology sub-faculty of Kazan State Medical University Gadel Kamalov and Zulfiya Galeeva read the lectures for 23 cardiologists, including specialists from Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan during the month.

Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 7651 times during the week. 1278 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 983 times, including road accidents (57 times). 57 people have suffered, 36 persons were taken to healthcare institutions.  5925 emergency calls were registered about various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (53 cases), acute cerebral circulation disorders (190 cases).

TR Health Ministry reports that Perinatal Center of Children's Municipal Hospital has taken the newborn girl weighing 2.300 grams on October, 27 at 2:55. The baby was found in the trash by a man who called an ambulance. Roughly date of birth is October, 26, 23:50. Temperature at admission was 32 degrees. The girl is in an incubator at the moment.
