World Health Organization (WHO) has declared May, 31st the World Day without Tobacco in 1988. Annually WHO and partners celebrate this Day, drawing the attention to the health hazards bound to the use of tobacco, and encouraging to carry out the states to make the policy on decrease of tobacco smoking.

Melanoma is detected at 90 – 100 persons in Tatarstan every year. More than 18 thousand patients with melanoma are in Privolzhsky federal district. In Russia there are near 90 thousand patients with this disease.
