Open lectures of leading foreign scientists will take place in Kazan State Medical University from May, 12 till May, 26th. Professor of Pennsylvania University (USA) Jeffrey Wong, Professor of Reading University (Great Britain) Vitaly Khutoriansky, Professor of British Columbia University (Canada) Brown Kajumi, Professor of Yale University (USA) Ramin Akhmadi, Professor of Vermont University (USA) Madjid Sadigue and Professor of Aix-Marseille University (France) Peter Brezhestovsky will appear the speakers. Scientists will tell about innovations in medical education, will knock down medical education questions and will talk about global health.

Healthcare Control Department of Kazan has summed up the results of competition of children's drawings «What do you know about competition?» Competition was organized within the limits of European Immunization Week on April, 25th. Children of health personnel of Kazan at the age from 10 till 15 years took part in it.

7370 emergency calls were registered in Kazan from 01.05.17 till 07.05.17. 1139 calls were registered in public places. The greatest number of calls (5802) was on various diseases, including 193 strokes and 38 infarcts.

Thousand men and women from Soviet Tataria have been mobilized for front in the first days of war. Health personnel were among them. They have imported the invaluable contribution to the victory over fascist aggressors.

Prophylactic medical examination of veterans of the Great Patriotic War was finished in Nizhnekamsk. Physicians of Nizhnekamsk Central Regional Hospital have examined 378 persons.
