World Environment Protection Day has been founded by General Assembly of the United Nations in 1972 and since then it is celebrated all over the world.

Republican conference «Pressing questions of sports medicine » has taken place today in SAHI «Municipal polyclinic №4"Student's" on the threshold of XVI World Aquatics Championship in Kazan. More than 60 physicians took part in the conference. They discussed the questions of medical and sanitary-and-epidemiologic provision of World Championship, traumatism and rehabilitation in sports. They also visited work-shops on kinesio - and immobilization taping.

I.T.Vykhdetz, deputy chief of Sports Medicine Department of FMBA of Russia and A.V.Fomina, the chief of Sports Teams’ Medical Provision Department of FMBA of Russia have visited Kazan. Mobile medical complexes for medical provision of sportsmen were the main subject of the visit.

Kazan State Medical University gained four points in the ranking having occupied 31st place in "TOP 100" among all high schools of Russia and 4th place in group of medical and pharmaceutical high schools according to data of rating agency "Expert-ra".

Opening of Chubuklinsky Medical Station built on «Program of development of the primary medical care in Tatarstan Republic in 2012-2016» has taken place in Zainsk municipal district. R.G. A singularity of this disease is the arterial hypertonia (in 36-41 % of cases), metabolic syndrome (72 %), fatness and dislipidemia. More than 300 participants from Russia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, the Netherlands, Norway, Czech Republic, Switzerland and other countries will take part in the conference this year.
