World Mental Health Day is marked annually on October 10.

Mental health is a state of mental well–being that enables people to cope with stressful situations, realize their potential, successfully study and work, as well as contribute to society.

The annual professional skills contest is held on the initiative of chief nurse Gulnaz Shaukatovna Garipova, with the support of the labor union organization of medical workers of the city. It is aimed at supporting and developing the institute of mentoring.
