Today, on February 18, the public of the republic is remembering the famous physician, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, former Deputy Minister of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan of the 3rd convocation Shamil Sagitovich Karatay, who passed away suddenly on May 5, 2008 at the age of 62.

An online meeting with students of the Kirov State Medical University has been held at the SAHI Nizhnekamsk Children's City Hospital with the Perinatal Center. The job fair is held on an ongoing basis in order to employ future graduates.

During the period of aggravation of the epidemiological situation, cars are actively used in the cities and in the villages to bring medical care to the population of the Almetyevsk Municipal District. In 2021, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, handed over the keys to 15 new cars based on Lada Largus with medical stretchers. This made it possible to increase the number of service house calls by 2.5 times.

The Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of Nizhnekamsk has started a series of lectures on the reproductive health and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases for students of higher and secondary educational institutions.
