Participants of the competition will be students of secondary professional medical schools of Tatarstan Republic, as well as students of medical, pediatric, pharmaceutical faculties of KSMU. The competition is held for Tatar-speaking and Russian-speaking students. The tasks are developed within the framework of the standard of basic higher and secondary professional education.

Rheumatic diseases have more than 100 nozological forms and occupy the third place among the causes of disability after cardiovascular and oncologic diseases. Annually rheumatoid arthritis became the cause of disability at 80 thousand patients; half of them are in working age. The number of disabled children with rheumatic diseases has increased in 24% since 2000.

HIV incidence has decreased in 5,9% in Tatarstan during the last 2 years. This information was announced by TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov at the meeting of the Interdepartmental AIDS Commission at the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Republic. It was dedicated to the implementation of measures on formation of healthy lifestyle, prevention of HIV infection, viral hepatitis B and C in general and professional educational institutions in 2016-2017.

The defeat of the esophagus malignant tumor is one of the most frequent pathologies (80-90% of all neoplasms). Cancer of the esophagus occupies the 9th place in the structure of cancer. Esophageal cancer has constituted 1.9% of the total number of cancer patients in Tatarstan Republic in 2017.

Training for paramedics took place in Kazan State Medical Academy. More than 100 paramedics from the cities and districts of Tatarstan Republic, as well as employees of National Disaster Medicine Center have discussed the clinic and diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome and the provision of emergency medical care at the pre-hospital stage. The meeting was attended by representatives of Emergency Department of M. F. Vladimirsky Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute.

Campaign in support of vaccination took place in the framework of European Immunization Week in Perinatal Center of SAHI "Kama Children's Medical Center". Every mother who agreed to vaccinations received pleasant surprises: vaccination certificate, which includes the first vaccination of the baby, a set of newborn care and a green ribbon as a symbol of strong immunity.
