Meeting dedicated to the reduction of mortality and improvement of the demographic situation in the region took place in Aktanyshsky district. The team of Kazan State Medical University "Duty team" won the 2nd place in All-Russian Student Competition in practical medical training "Golden Med Skill" with international participation. 54 teams from medical universities of the country took part in the professional competition.

9006 emergency calls were registered in Kazan Emergency Station during the period from 26.03.18 to 01.04.18. 1,066 calls were registered in public places. The greatest number of calls (7354) was on various diseases, including 197 acute disorders of cerebral circulation and 72 heart attacks.

Diagnostic (gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, cysto-fibroscopy) and therapeutic interventions (polypectomy, electrocoagulation and clipping of blood vessels when bleeding, pneumonectasia – grinding stones) for residents of Leninogorsk and Leninogorsky district will be held in new unit. The patients had to travel to Kazan and Almetievsk before the opening of new unit.
