In Nizhnekamsk narcological dispensary will do analyses on all known kinds of narcotic substances - in laboratory there was gas chromatograph "Maestro". The analyzer can define more than 300 thousand kinds of narcotics in a human body. In republic the similar medical equipment is in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny where analyses earlier were delivered.

In Nizhnekamsk local residents within two days could pass anonymous test for HIV in an out-patient department № 2 of Nizhnekamsk central regional multi-field hospitals. Within the limits of the stock the HIV-status was learnt by 117 persons. At one person the positive take has been taped. As of 12.07.17 in Nizhnekamsk live 534 HIV-infected, among which one child.
