Nurses all over the world celebrate the professional holiday on May, 12th. This day was chosen after the decision of International Organization “Red cross”. It is celebrated in birthday of English nurse Florence Nightingale who had organized the first service of nurses during the Crimean War. Officially it has been founded only in 1971.

Competition «Best health personnel» in format of game took place in Youth Centre of Almetyevsk on the threshold of International Nurse Day.

Week of preventive maintenance of arterial hypertonia takes place in Tatarstan from May, 8 till May, 17th. Hypertonia became the disease of the century. Many people consider headache, delicacy and sleeplessness as fatique. But they are the first signs of the high arterial pressure. This time tanks and heart of the person need the help. The arterial hypertonia is one of the most widespread risk factors of cardiovascular diseases and their complications, such as myocardial infarction and disturbance of cerebral circulation.

Healthcare Control Department of Kazan has summed up the results of competition of children's drawings «What do you know about competition?» Competition was organized within the limits of European Immunization Week on April, 25th. Children of health personnel of Kazan at the age from 10 till 15 years took part in it.

7370 emergency calls were registered in Kazan from 01.05.17 till 07.05.17. 1139 calls were registered in public places. The greatest number of calls (5802) was on various diseases, including 193 strokes and 38 infarcts.

Thousand men and women from Soviet Tataria have been mobilized for front in the first days of war. Health personnel were among them. They have imported the invaluable contribution to the victory over fascist aggressors.
