Kazan hosted the first stage of the regional competition of professional skills "Taking care of health" among graduates of educational institutions of Tatarstan Republic, studying in the specialty "General Medicine".

Pulmonary embolism (PE) is the third leading cause of death in patients with acute conditions, leaving myocardial infarction and brain stroke at the second place. At present, 30 urgent operations for acute severe forms of PE have been carried out in the medical unit of "Tatneft" Almetyevsk.

All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of HIV infection: a look into the future", which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution "Republican Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic ", was held today in Kazan Riviera. First Deputy Health Minister Almir Abashev addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He stressed the exceptional importance of the conference both for the development of science and practical health care.

Famous journalist and TV presenter, radio presenter, writer Vladimir Pozner visited Children's Republican Clinical Hospital, as part of a working trip to the capital of Tatarstan.

Four students from Tatarstan were awarded vouchers to the youth center "Artek" for participation in the Federal project "Healthy food – active longevity" and the competition "Leader".
