Scientific and practical conference "New technologies in ophthalmology" dedicated to E. V. Adamyuk is held in Kazan. Experts from Russia will discuss the results of research, new approaches in the treatment and diagnosis of eye diseases, management of ophthalmic patients. Unique clinical cases and reports of leading ophthalmologists are presented in the conference.

The all-Russian campaign "Be healthy" was held at Kazan State Conservatory. It was organized by Republican Medical Prevention Center, together with University clinic of Kazan Federal University.

Health Minister Marat Sadykov took part in Russian venture forum. There is a fair of venture projects within the framework of the forum.

Museum devoted to the Kazan Ophthalmologic School has opened in Republican Clinical Ophthalmologic Hospital of HM TR (Butlerov str., 14). Proceedings of known scientists, the first instruments of physicians, and also rare pictures of operations are collected in it. Museum opening is dated for the 180 anniversary of professor Emilian Adamjuk, the founder of ophthalmologic school in Kazan. Journalists of city and republican mass-media one of the first estimated museum exhibits.

Industrial gymnastics for employees is introduced in the Republican Clinical Hospital. Optimum complex of exercises for gymnastics was specially developed by physicians of physical therapy.

The regional stage of the All-Russia Olympic Games of professional skill on speciality «Nursing care» among graduates of average medical educational institutions of Tatarstan Republic has passed on the basis of SAPEI « Kazan medical college».

Republican AIDS Centre together with RPO «Prevention and initiative» held in Kazan campaign on HIV-infection prevention. Its purpose – rising of Tatarstan inhabitants awareness of  HIV-infection and formation of positive medium excluding discrimination of persons with HIV positive status.
