Campaign «Stop, atherosclerosis!» took place in Student's Polyclinic of Kazan. More than 130 students of high schools took part in it. Physicians have told about preventive measures of atherosclerosis progression and saving the tanks for many long years.

The death rate from tuberculosis has decreased on 20,4 % in Tatarstan in 2016. It was able to attain the decrease of tuberculosis case rate on 6,6 % in 2016. Such data were told today at press conference in "Tatmedia" dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day. Head physician of Republican Clinical Antituberculous Dispensary Alexey Alekseev and deputy head physician of dispensary of Ramzia Fatykhova have responded to questions of journalists.

Expected lifespan in Tatarstan Republic has constituted 73,64 years old. It is the 9th place in rating of regions of the Russian Federation and the first place in Privolzhsky federal district. Growth has constituted 1,5 years in comparison with 2013. Regions of the North Caucasian federal district, Moscow and St.-Petersburg outstrip our republic.

Campaign dedicated to World Oral Health Day in Russia took place in Kazan State Medical University. World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated annually on March, 20th at the initiative of the International Federation of Stomatologists. Stomatologic Association of Russia is the organizer of the campaign in Russia.

The principal of executive committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Rinat Abdullin, the chief of Healthcare Department of Naberezhnye Chelny Oleg Sabaev and the head of architecture, town-planning and housing development department of Naberezhnye Chelny Ilmir Iskhakov have begun the inspection of healthcare institutions of Naberezhnye Chelny which must be repaired in 2017.
