Boris Yefimovich worked as a psychiatrist and narcologist for almost 60 years, and was one of the founders of the teetotal movement. Last week, 40 days passed since his death – he passed away on July 6. Relatives, colleagues and friends honored the memory of the deceased and shared their memories of him.

Rezeda Khayeva, Chief Narcologist of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan, took part in the work of the Coordinating Council of Commissioners for Children's Rights in the subjects of the Volga Federal District in Cheboksary. Extended session on "Prevention of social orphanhood: comprehensive assistance to parents with alcohol or drug addiction" was held jointly with the chief narcologists of the subjects of the Volga Federal District.

The repair work was financed from the republic's budget, and the cost amounted to 40 million rubles.

Forum "SPROUTS: Russia and China – mutually beneficial cooperation" is taking place on August 18-19, 2025 in Kazan.
