In 2021, 912 tuberculosis patients have been identified for the first time in the Republic of Tatarstan. Territorial incidence of tuberculosis in 2021 remained at the level of 2020 and amounted to 23.4 per 100,000 population (2020 – 23.4; 2019 – 28.8 per 100,000 population). The incidence of tuberculosis in the republic is 27.8% lower than in the Russian Federation (32.4) and 26.9% lower than in the Volga Federal District (32.0).

The results of activities in 2021 have been summed up and tasks for 2022 have been outlined at the reporting meeting of the Chistopol CDH. The reporting meeting has been opened by Chief Physician of the Chistopol CDH, Candidate of Medical Sciences Rais Mustafin.

Special exercises for emergency medical specialists have been held in Kazan.

SAHI Tuqay CDH summed up the results of the district's healthcare for 2021 today. The keynote report on the results of the healthcare of the Tuqay District has been made by Chief Physician of the SAHI Tuqay CDH Galim Sabirzyanov.  

For more than 2 months, there has been an appointment at the Children's Polyclinic #1 of the SAHI Zelenodolsk Central District Hospital on Gogol str., 10. The new three-storey building has been built as a part of the primary health care modernization program of the national project “Health Care”.  

4 medical workers have been employed in the Yutaza District last year under the “Zemsky Doctor” and “Zemsky Paramedic” programs (1 doctor and 3 paramedics).

Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sadykov visited the Rowing Center of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism the day before. Rector of the University Rafis Burganov acquainted the Minister with the ability of the Center.

Physicians began operating on eyes with new equipment in the Nizhnekamsk Multifnctional Hospital. New device, phacoemulsifier, for the cataract surgery is being put into operation.

In Tatarstan, overhaul of polyclinic buildings will be continued in 2022 under the primary health care modernization program. This year the program is included in the national project “Health care”. 246.9 million rubles will be allocated from the republican and federal budgets for the overhaul of polyclinics in Tatarstan.

The AIDS Center held the reporting meeting on the results of the activities of the SAHI Republican Center of AIDS and Infectious Diseases Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2021 and tasks for 2022.
