A healthy and strong baby weighing 3,710 grams and 50 centimeters in height has been born by resident of Nizhnekamsk Valentina Sarapkina, who has been vaccinated against COVID-19 with the two-component Sputnik V vaccine during pregnancy.

The girl has been born in a family of doctors who work in Zelenodolsk CDH. The girl's mother is an epidemiologist; her father is an intensivist.  The family of doctors already has one child, a boy, born in 2020.
