5 residents and 4 students of the Yelabuga Medical School work together with experienced mentors in the COVID-19 hospital of Yelabuga. Young people were sent to a medical institution to assist in the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection on the basis of a decision of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation of the Republican Blood Center headed by the chief physician of the RBC Ramil Turaev visited the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital today.

Today is the World Prematurity Day. All the causes of premature birth have not yet been fully studied by medical science. Currently, according to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the survival rate of premature babies in Russia is 98%. Even 20 years ago, almost 80% of babies born weighing less than a kilogram died. It was possible to reduce numbers thanks to medical technologies and modern equipment.
