Charity campaign "Smile!" will take place on May 25, 2019. It will be organized by Almetyevsk branch of Republican Oncology Dispensary of TR HM together with Almetyevsk Dental Clinic. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the population about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of dental and oncologic diseases of the oral cavity.

Surgeons-endocrinologists of University Clinic demonstrated the use of minimally invasive methods of treatment of benign tumors of the thyroid gland – percutaneous laser ablation.

Workshop for participants from Germany was held at University Clinic of Kazan Federal University in the framework of the interdisciplinary Russian-German seminar "Interaction: from cell to human", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the partnership agreement between Liebig Giessen University and KFU.

Republican scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of Pediatrics and neonatology" was held in the cultural center "Chistay" of Chistopol on May 23, 2019.

The system of effective functioning of modern clinics, the strategy of management of children with family hypercholesterolemia, clinical and diagnostic criteria for chronic kidney disease in children, rational antibiotic therapy in the practice of pediatrician, social problems of Pediatrics and neonatology, nutrition of children, as well as issues of perinatal medicine have been discussed during the conference.

Recently, the problem of reproductive health of adolescents is becoming increasingly important. There is growing number of adolescents with various diseases of the reproductive system, including the consequences of early pregnancy, infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, etc. Obstetricians and gynecologists of the Chistopolsky CRH held a series of lectures about the features of reproductive health among students of the last years in Chistopol schools.

All-Russian campaign for the prevention of iodine deficiency diseases "Salt+iodine will save IQ " is held in Kazan from 24 to 26 of May. The purpose of the campaign is to increase public awareness on the prevention of iodine deficiency diseases and measures for their prevention. Thematic lectures in schools, universities/colleges, women's clinics, as well as consultations with endocrinologists and ultrasound screening of thyroid diseases will be held within the framework of the campaign.

The rating takes into account three main indicators – demographic, economic and activity of the institution.

Last year, Nizhnekamsky district was on the 20th place according to the rating indicators of the institution, now it came in first place. The rating took into account the coverage of fluorographic examinations of patients at risk, the recording of patients to doctors in electronic form, medical examinations and the effectiveness of the use of equipment. Besides, no substantiated complaint has been registered.

Fire-tactical exercises "Organization of evacuation measures in case of fire, fire localization and practical evacuation of people" took place in the children's polyclinic and dental polyclinic of SAHI "Chistopolsky CRH" on May 17, 2019. The exercises were carried out to check the preparation of hospital staff for evacuation activities and the elimination of fire at the facility with a mass stay of people. An automatic fire alarm system and loudspeaker were launched, rescue services were notified and the evacuation of medical personnel and patients began after the detection of a simulated fire source. The staff and visitors of the clinic were evacuated as a result of the coordinated fire-tactical actions.

Women after 40 years often suffer from unpleasant symptoms of menopause and only some of them go to the doctor; they don’t link their poor health with age-related changes. Unfortunately, vascular disorders, which disturb women during menopause, such as increased blood pressure and heartbeat, headaches, dizziness, forced to contact therapist, neurologist and cardiologist.

XXV Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "Pain medicine: from understanding to action" is held in Kazan on May, 23-25.

Neurologists, therapists, General practitioners, manual therapy and physical therapy from all over Russia discuss non-drug methods of pain treatment, psycho-social aspects of chronic pain and prospects for the development of analgesic care. The conference will also include a workshop "Therapeutic taping in conservative therapy of myofascial pain syndrome".
