All-Russian campaign "Stop HIV/AIDS" is held on May, 14-20. It is timed to coincide with the World AIDS Day. Rally "Kazan–Zelenodolsk – Chistopol–Kazan" will take place with the aim of increasing public awareness about HIV infection. Mobile stations will be installed in the participating cities, where everyone can pass express HIV and get a consultation of medical psychologist. The organizers of the campaign are: TR Health Ministry, Republican AIDS Center and the regional public organization "Prevention and initiative".

International Scientific and Practical Conference: "Topical issues of HIV infection. Health protection of children with HIV infection" takes place these days in St. Petersburg. The event is held within the framework of the program" Decade of childhood in Russia" in order to exchange experience and knowledge between Russian and foreign specialists of a wide range of related areas. Head physician of Republican AIDS Centre Niyaz Galiullin and Deputy Head physician Firaya Nagimova take part in the conference.

International Conference of young scientists "Brain diseases: the challenge of the XXI century" will be held in Kazan (KSMU, Butlerov str., 49) on May, 16, 2018. The event will be attended by leading Russian and foreign scientists in the field of fundamental and applied neurosciences. The conference will include lectures, presentations of young scientists, discussion of key scientific problems in the field of neuroscience. Leading experts from universities of Russia, the UK and France will be the speakers.

The event dedicated to International Day of Nurses took place in Verkhneuslonsky municipal district on May, 11.

All-Russian campaign in support of healthy lifestyle " We are healthy-join us!" was held in Kazan on May, 12. More than 2.5 thousand residents of the city took part in mass exercises. The campaign was organized by Kazan State Medical University and TR Health Ministry.

Competition of children's drawings on the theme "Vaccine is our protection" was held in Kazan Municipal Children's Polyclinic №7 as part of the World Immunization Week.

Tomorrow Kazan will host the all-Russian campaign "We are healthy-join us!" with participation of TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov in Kazan Gorky Park.

Regional qualifying competitions of TR health workers "Health 2018" took place in Nizhnekamsk. Teams of cities: Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Bugulma, Zelenodolsk took part in the competitions.

Nurse's Day is celebrated on May, 12.
