Charity campaign "Her Majesty Toothbrush" was held at the Lyceum № 35-educational center "Galaxy". Dentists of Children's Dental Clinic №5 together with the 4th year students of the faculty of dentistry and residents of the department of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics of KSMA conducted lessons on oral hygiene for primary school pupils. Children knew how to care properly for the oral cavity and brush their teeth, what products are useful, what hygiene products exist and how often everybody must visit the dentist.

Information center for comprehensive support of HIV-infected people has been opened in Republican AIDS Center. The opening ceremony was headed by head physician Niyaz Galiullin and chief freelance specialist on diagnostics and treatment of HIV infection of Health Ministry of the Russian Federation, head of Scientific-Practical Center of Prevention and Treatment of HIV infection in pregnant women and children, heah physician of Republican Clinical Infectious Hospital of Health Ministry of the Russian Federation Evgeny Voronin.

Festive event dedicated to the international day of older people took place in Kazan Medical College. TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov congratulated veterans of healthcare. He announced that Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic will present a program for the development of geriatric care in Tatarstan.

Health Minister Marat Sadykov and Senior Advisor of European department of WHO "Healthy cities" at the UN Aik Nikoghosyan have met at Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic today. The meeting was also attended by the head of Healthcare Department of Kazan Ilnur Khalfiev. They talked about cooperation, identified priority areas of the work, discussed initiatives and shared best practices in the field of creating a healthy urban environment.

Polyclinic of Apastovsky CRH has been opened after repair in Apastovsky municipal district. Repair work was carried out within the framework of the capital repair program at the expense of the Republican budget. More than 11 million rubles were spent for these purposes.  The network of electricity and water supply, heating, sewerage were completely replaced, major repairs of the entrance group of clinic, painting and decoration were also carried out.

All healthcare institutions of Tatarstan celebrate their employees who have gone on a well-deserved rest. The celebrations are dedicated to the international day of older people.

Campaign "Osteoscreening” for identifying osteoporosis and the determination of the risk group took place in Municipal Polyclinic №3 of Naberezhnye Chelny. The participants of the campaign were diagnosed on an x-ray densitometer, received advice from a surgeon, gynecologist and therapist. 38 people took part in the campaign, 8 of them had a confirmed diagnosis, 11 persons had clinical signs of the disease.

Physicians of the ophthalmology department of CRCH performed a number of complex reconstructive operations. Work-shop was held by the head of the department of reconstructive and plastic surgery of Academician S. N. Fedorov Intersectoral Scientific and Technical Complex "Eye microsurgery" (Moscow), Professor Mikhail G. Kataev. The operations were performed in small patients with congenital anomalies of the eye appendage, eyelid ptosis and scar post-burn deformities of the skin of the paraorbital area.

The eleventh course of the Presidential Program of training of management personnel in the field of healthcare "Management in healthcare" (Type A) took place in Kazan State Medical University of Health Ministry of Russia on September 29, 2018. Rector of Kazan State Medical University A. Sozinov, first Deputy Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic S. Osipov, Deputy Economy Minister of Tatarstan Republic A. Shamsiev took part in the ceremony of awarding by diplomas to the graduates of the Presidential Program.

Social campaign #I DID IT will be organized in Almetyevsk on October, 6 and in Naberezhnye Chelny on October, 7.  It is aimed at raising the awareness of residents about the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer. It is held in the framework of the information campaign "Education against tumors".
