XIII International Congress on electrostimulation and clinical electrophysiology of the heart "Cardiostim-2018" took place in St. Petersburg. Surgical treatment of complex disorders of heart rhythm and conduction was discussed in the congress. The Northern capital of Russia unites specialists engaged in diagnosis and treatment of rhythm disorders: cardiologists, arrhythmologists, cardiac surgeons, specialists in endovascular methods of diagnosis and treatment, doctors of functional diagnostics, emergency doctors for a quarter of century.

The final medical meeting dedicated to the work of the healthcare industry of Cheremshan district in 2017 and the tasks for 2018 was held in SAHI "Cheremshansky CRH". The meeting was attended by the head of Department of licensing of Health Ministry Dmitry Frolov, head of Cheremshansky district Ferdinad Davletshin, Deputy head of the Executive Committee Ramzia Dolgopolova.

Children's physicians from Kazan and Nizhnekamsk have examined the children with disabilities in new children's polyclinic of Chistopol Central Regional Hospital. The event was held within the party project "United Russia" "Health for children" with the support of the rehabilitation center "Power of Children", Head of Chistopolsky municipal district Dmitry Ivanov and Deputy of TR State Council Mukhametvaley Khusnutdinov.

The zonal stage of Republican Competition: "Woman of the year. Man of the year: female view" was held in Buinsk. More than 30 participants from 8 districts of the Republic: Buinsky, Zelenodolsky, Kaibitsky, Apastovsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Kamsko-Ustyinsky districts took part in this stage.

Topical issues of pediatric pulmonology will be discussed on February 22 in CRCH within the limits of Kazan pediatric training.The issues of rehabilitation of children with recurrent respiratory diseases, indicators of the quality management of patients with bronchial obstruction syndrome, molecular allergic diagnostics, the clinical case of lymphoid interstitial pneumonia at child of 8 years old will be discussed during the meeting.

Kazan hosted an extended meeting of the Hospital Council dedicated to the results 2017 of Republican Clinical Hospital of TR Health Ministry and tasks for 2018. The event was attended by TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov, Chairman of the Committee on social policy of State Council of Tatarstan Svetlana Zakharova, the head of Department of health, sport and formation of healthy lifestyle of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Guzel Shakirova, head physician of RCH Rustem Gaifullin, etc.

Rescuers, employees of Emergency Station and Center for Medical Prevention came to visit one of schools of Nizhnekamsk. Campaign "Learn to save life" has the purpose to teach children to help the victims in the water. The school was chosen not by chance - it is located a few meters from the Kama river. Students enthusiastically repeated for rescuers maneuvers to pull the person who fell under the ice, and learned to do artificial respiration and heart massage. Dance flash-mob completed the event.

All-Russian forum on quality of medical education will take place in Kazan State Medical University from 21 to 22 of February 2018. Forum will be attended by students and staff of 29 medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia. Discussions, strategic sessions, round tables and workshops will be held. Self-organization of students, use of information technologies in education, forms of independent quality assessment by students will be also discussed.
