All-Russian conference "Palliative care. Life quality through professionalism and mercy." will be held in Kazan on September 21, 2018. About 14% of people receive palliative care worldwide today according to statistics from World Health Organization. Almost 1.5 million people in Russia need palliative care. The global need for palliative care will continue to increase as a result of the increasing burden of non-communicable diseases and population ageing.
