Neurosurgeons of CRCH: head of neurosurgery unit, Ph. D., Ivanov Vladimir Stanislavovich, Ph. D. Fatykhova Elsa Fagilovna and Abdullin Damir Iskandarovich took an active part in the VIII Congress of Neurosurgeons of Russia, which was held in St. Petersburg from 18.09 to 22.09. Vladimir Stanislavovich Ivanov, as the chief specialist responsible for children's neurosurgical service in the Volga Federal District, not only co-chaired the meeting on children's neurosurgery, but also participated in the formation of the order of Health Ministry of the Russian Federation "on the procedure for providing medical care to children on the profile of "Neurosurgery". Fatykhova Elsa Fagilovna shared with colleagues the experience in the treatment of children with drug - resistant epilepsy - vagus nerve stimulation; Abdullin Damir Iskandarovich prepared two reports: the first-about the reconstructive operations on the skull in children with craniosynostosis, the second report was about hydrocephalus, in particular, the twenty years’ experience in the implantation of shunting systems.
On May 6, on the eve of Victory Day, the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan held a solemn presentation of a certificate for the amount of donations from medical workers to help residents of the Lugansk People's Republic.
