Complicated surgery was performed in the surgical unit of Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital

Complex surgery on a one-month-old patient was performed in surgical unit of CRCH.

The little Tatarstan citizen was diagnosed with esophageal atresia – incomplete esophageal formation, often associated with tracheo-esophageal fistula. The diagnosis is suspected at the procedure of establishing of nasogastric probe, if prenatal diagnosis has not been carried out. In this case, the rapid elimination of the defect is applied.
