Surgeons of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital performed a rare and complicated surgery to a child from Yoshkar-Ola. The little patient was diagnosed gastroschisis, occurring in one of 10,000 cases.
The child was taken to Children's Republican Clinical Hospital from the Republic of Mari El, with the suspicion of additional pathology of intestinal obstruction. Surgeons of the surgical department for children of early age of CRCH performed staged surgical intervention for the immersion of the intestine into the abdominal cavity.
