The thematic ten-day campaign on cancer prevention was launched in Tatarstan

The ten-day campaign on the cancer prevention is taking place in the Republic of Tatarstan from 1 to 10 July 2019. More than 100 types of cancer are known. The incidence of cancer is growing in our country according to statistics. More than 480 thousand cases of malignant neoplasms are detected annually. Over the past decade, this figure has increased by 14%. Every year cancer takes the lives of almost 300 thousand Russians, and 200 thousand people are recognized as disabled for the first time because of this disease. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death.
