RMLIC team visited the exhibition of «100 names to the 100-anniversary of TASSR»
Exhibition «Alexander Vishnevsky: the legendary surgeon and scientist» in the framework of project «100 names to the 100th anniversary of Tatarstan» work in the National Museum of Tatarstan Republic. The staff of the Republican Medical Library-Information Center visited this exhibition the day before.
A.V. Vishnevsky (1874-1948) – the largest clinician, an outstanding surgeon, the creator of innovative scientific school. He created new effective methods of treatment of various surgical diseases.
Unique collection of A. V. Vishnevsky, transferred in 1957 by his son A. A. Vishnevsky is saved in funds of the National Museum of Tatarstan Republic. Medical instruments and photographs, books and manuscripts of A.V. Vishnevsky presents on the exhibition, dedicated to memory of the famous compatriot.
