Worldwide colorectal cancer takes one of the leading places in the structure of cancer pathologies. Colon cancer ranked second in Tatarstan Republic, accounting for 13.2% of the total number of cancer patients in 2018. Despite modern methods of early diagnosis, the incidence of this type of cancer continues to grow.
