Thematic ten-day campaign on "prevention of posture disorders in children" took place in Tatarstan Republic from the 2d to 11th of September.
Posture disorders and scoliosis are the most common diseases of the musculoskeletal system in children and adolescents. The violations of posture lead to the deteriorations of the function of respiration and blood circulation, the activity of the liver and intestines, metabolic processes, which leads to a decrease in physical and mental performance. Posture defects cause visual impairment (myopia, astigmatism), affect negatively the state of the nervous system. Children complain of pain in the spine, arising after loads, a feeling of numbness in the area between the shoulder blades.
