In Almetyevsk a conference with the international participation has taken place

On September, 20th at the medical and sanitary centre of the city of Almetyevsk a scientific-practical conference on the theme «Pressing questions on a vernal encephalitis and flu vaccinal prevention» has taken place. The Deputy Minister of Health Care of RТ S.Osipov, the main epidemiologist of Ministry of Health of RT R.Dolgova, the chief specialist - the expert of department of epidemiological supervision of the Board of Rospotrebnadzor on RТ N.Nurullova, the professor of the Institute of Social Medicine of the Vienna University, doctor Michael Kuntse, leading experts of Moscow, Kazan, Novosibirsk became participants of this event.

Questions of application of vaccines against tick-borne vernal encephalitis and flu, discussed at the conference, have appeared very actual for the Republic of Tatarstan. More than 26 its districts are considered epidemiologically unsuccessful just on a tick-borne encephalitis. Gravity of disease, its consequences, threat of a lethal outcome for patients with the weakened immunity, the ease of spread of a virus force doctors all over the whole again and again to address to this problem.

There is only one kind of protection against a vernal encephalitis - vaccination. This thought has run all through the conference and reports of the gathered specialists. According to speakers, good prophylaxis provides protection practically for hundred percent.

 As doctor Michael Kuntse and the doctor of medical sciences Irina Izvekova have noted, this question in RТ was  approached very seriously, as, however, to health of the population of the Republic as a whole.
