In Tatarstan operation on the anterior cerebral artery for the first time is executed

«Give me a point of support, and I will turn the Earth». These words of known Ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes became the motto of the today that  brought the next victory to the Republican Hospital: doctors of RCH have performed a unique operation on embolization of  an anterior  cerebral artery aneurysm rupture with the use of hybrid approach.
This operation became the first not only for РКБ, but also for Tatarstan as a whole. Speaking about complexity of operation, it is necessary to notice the fact that its performance became possible only thanks to harmonious work of doctors of two units – of vascular surgery №1 and the unit of radiosurgical diagnostics and treatment methods. In view of anatomic features to perform the given surgical intervention in the usual way that is access through a femoral artery, was impossible. In this connection the decision on the necessity of carrying out of hybrid operation was accepted. At the first stage vascular surgeons have singled out the left general carotid, then  radioendovascular surgeons have performed open embolization of aneurysm rupture of the anterior cerebral artery. Operation has passed successfully, and now the patient feels well.
