Ten day campaign «Prevention of osteoporosis» takes place in Tatarstan

Thematic ten day campaign "Prevention of osteoporosis" takes place in Tatarstan from 11 to 20 of October. It is dedicated to World Day of Osteoporosis Prevention on October, 20.

Osteoporosis ranks fourth in the world as a cause of disability and human mortality after diseases such as cardiovascular, cancer and diabetes according to WHO.   Every third woman and every fifth man over 50 years old suffer from this disease in Russia.
