Thematic ten-day campaign: "Prevention of stroke dedicated to World Anti-stroke Day (October, 29)" takes place in Tatarstan Republic from 21 to 30 of October.

World Anti-stroke Day is celebrated every year on October, 29. The purpose of this event is to attract public attention to the problem of brain strokes: prevention, timely diagnosis and medical care. Leading specialists of medical institutions of the republic should tell about the symptoms, disease prevention, necessary measures for stroke and rehabilitation after it.
