A 17-year-old girl from Tatarstan faced a disease characteristic of people of mature age. Severe pain, first in the lumbar region, and then in the right leg, forced the patient to consult specialists, but conservative treatment did not yield results. CT scan revealed a herniated disc.
This disease is extremely rare in children, so previously such surgical interventions were not performed in CRCH. The hernia, squeezing the nerve, caused a sharp pain in the leg. The surgery was required as a treatment.
