Ten day campaign on prevention of diseases of the visual organs is taking place in Tatarstan

Thematic ten day campaign on the prevention of diseases of the visual organs is taking place in Tatarstan Republic from 4 to 13 November.

About 285 million people suffer from visual impairment, 39 million are affected by blindness according to WHO. Doctors believe that 80% of all cases of visual impairment can be prevented or cured.
