In Tatarstan an island for life will be opened

For the first time in Russia the unique project on aftertreatment of children who underwent a serious illness is realized. The project purpose is to give to the child a powerful emotional stimulus to recover. The idea of building of the specialized health-improving centre was supported by Mintimer Shaymiyev, Airat Farrakhov, Vladislav Tretyak, Leonid Roshal.
The project on building of the first in Russia health-improving centre for children who underwent oncologic and other serious illnesses, is realized on Sviyazhsk island in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The unique nature of island on the Volga river in combination with necessary rehabilitational procedures undoubtedly will help small visitors to get stronger after completion of an active phase of treatment and during the remission periods.
It is planned that in December, 2013 the Improving centre will already accept the first children.
The project presentation will take place on October, 19th on the island of Sviyazhsk. Action will pass under the chairmanship of Vladislav Tretyak, with participation of initiators, partners and sponsors of the project.
