Tatarstan received a new flu vaccine

Tatarstan received an influenza tetravalent inactivated split vaccine for adults “Ultrix Quadri”, which protects against 4 strains of influenza. Medical organizations of Tatarstan Republic received 73,000 doses of the new vaccine.

This first tetravalent vaccine of domestic production includes antigens of influenza virus type A (H1N1), type A (H3N2), type B (Yamagata line), type B (Victoria line), which form a high specific immunity against influenza type A and B. Antibodies appear in 8-12 days after vaccination and immunity is maintained up to 12 months.
