The population of Nizhnekamsk will receive an inoculation against flu

Vaccinating campaign started in Nizhnekamsk on October, 1st. More than 55 thousand Nizhnekamsk inhabitants apply for free vaccination against flu. It is intended for people who fall within risk group: the elderly, students of high schools, pupils of special secondary schools, workers of transport, and also of educational, social and medical institutions. The others have a possibility to receive an inoculation at the expense of the employer.
It is necessary to notice that for 9 months of the current year in Nizhnekamsk municipal district there are registered more than 29 thousand cases of acute virus respiratory infections and 11 cases of flu.
From the end of September 800-900 cases of acute respiratory infections what corresponds to seasonal level of morbidity are weekly registered.
Lowering of activity of epidemic increase of flu and ARVI morbidity is promoted by actions on population immunization. Mainly, it is augmentation of coverage of the population with preventive inoculations.
