Tatarstan doctors have taken part in annual conference of European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (ЕАСТS)

Experts of a medicosanitary unit of Open Society "Tatneft" and Almetyevsk, cardiosurgeon Ildus Yagafarov and perfusionist Evgeniy Tenin have taken part in the work of 26th conference of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons - European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (ЕАСТS) which has passed in Barcelona (Spain).
At the congress world tendencies and prospects of development of cardiothoracic surgery have been sounded. Among them is introduction of new low-invasive operations allowing minimizing an operational trauma for the patient.
Despite prompt development of low-invasive surgeries «the gold standard» of treatment of a coronary pathology is aortocoronary shunting. In 2012 in a medicosanitary unit there are executed 200 ACSh, in all, since 2008,  more than 600.
Besides, experts have visited an exhibition of medical production for cardiothoracic surgery of leading world manufacturers.
