March, 6 is World Glaucoma Day

Glaucoma is a large group of diseases characterized by a constant or periodic increase in intraocular pressure, followed by the development of typical visual defects and optic atrophy. "World Glaucoma Day" is celebrated on March, 6 on the initiative of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) and the World Glaucoma Patients’ Association (WGPA) considering the importance of the problem.
