The first regional palliative care office with field service has been opened in Tatarstan

The palliative care office with field service appeared on the basis of Sabinsky Central Regional Hospital thanks to the victory in the grant competition of the President of Russia. It will work together with Angela Vavilova Public Charity Fund for Helping Children with Leukemia.

“There was a dream to cover patients from districts of Tatarstan. We puzzled for a long time how to do this. Then it was decided to open palliative care offices in the districts of Tatarstan, ”said Vladimir Vavilov, Chairman of the Board of Angela Vavilova Fund, Deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic.
