NCRMH doctor wrote a book about his native village

24 March 2020, Tuesday

Otolaryngologist Vagiz S. Sayfullin wrote a book “Native village of Ishteryakovo” in tatar. The book is dedicated to the history of the doctor’s small homeland and describes people who lived in the village of Ishteryakovo, built and developed it.

Vagiz Sayfullin said his initial idea was to write a book about a village school in which he studied. But the former teacher advised the author to write a book about his native village. Vagiz embarked on this work enthusiastically. The doctor wrote the book for two years. Employees of the Kazan archive helped him in this difficult, sometimes local history work, by the will of fate, some of them turned out to be compatriots of Vagiz Sayfullin.
