Taking into account the need to implement measures to prevent and reduce the risks of spreading a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) among the population, the Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic informs about the procedure for conducting prenatal diagnostics for pregnant women in order to diagnose congenital malformations of the fetus and newborn child. Pregnant women are sent to Prenatal Diagnostics Centers of Tatarstan Republic for the first stage of prenatal diagnostics at the period of 11-13 weeks 6 days in the absence of clinical manifestations of acute respiratory viral disease, pneumonia, contact with a patient with a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), according to the approved route. Preliminary examination of the pregnant woman is performed by obstetricians and gynecologists of the women's clinic (office) at the place of residence of the patient. Collection of epidemiological anamnesis is carried out and this data is entered in the referral coupon before the visit to Prenatal Diagnostic Centers.
