Residents of Russia will be able to improve their knowledge in the field of bone marrow donation

September 19 is the World Bone Marrow Donor Day. The all-Russian campaign to promote bone marrow donation will be held throughout the country from September 17 to 19 of 2020. The campaign's goal is to increase the number of potential donors of bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cells in the Federal register.

Medical volunteers will organize an interactive quest within the framework of the event called  "Labyrinth of truth, or about bone marrow donation without fear." The goal is to attract volunteers to donate blood.

An interactive quest is dedicated to the issues of bone marrow donation. It is aimed at any population group over 16 years of age. It is educational and entertainment in nature. The quest tasks cover exciting facts about bone marrow donation in various countries, myths, and medical basics of bone marrow donation.

The campaign will be launched on September 18, 2020, at 09:00 on the territory of the Kazan Plasma Center of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rospasma" at 69 Ostrovsky Street in Kazan. We invite all concerned residents of the city to take part in this Action.

The organizers are the Tatarstan regional branch of the all-Russian public movement "Medical Volunteers."

The all-Russian public movement "Medical Volunteers" is a critical available resource center for medical volunteering. Through their activities, volunteers raise the level of medical literacy of the population and contribute to the nation's health.
