Adolescent from Yaroslavl with pneumothorax was cured in the Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan

Thoracic surgeons of the Republican Clinical Hospital saved a young man from Yaroslavl, who was admitted to them with a pneumothorax. At the age of 16, the young man suddenly got a lung disease. Mother took her son to the hospital. The doctors have found nothing but typical bronchitis. They have prescribed medication and sent him home. The pain is gone, but it returned three months later.

This time, the doctors saw a serious problem in the image. The young man had a pneumothorax - an accumulation of air in the pleural cavity, which leads to serious complications.

The operation lasted only a couple of hours and was successful. Today the guy is completely healthy and returned home with his mother.
