Dinara Gubaidullina, the head of the Department of Medical and Social Assistance of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital's polyclinic, and Anna Babintseva, chief consulting neonatologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the institutions of the Chistopol Central Regional Hospital.

As part of the working trip, Dinara Gabdulkhakovna and Anna Anatolyevna visited the maternity hospital, children's polyclinic, and women's consultation of the Chistopol CRH. The visit's purpose was to get acquainted with the medical institution's work within the organization of maternity and childhood services and the organization of medical and social assistance for children and pregnant women.

During the visit, specialists from Kazan noted the material and technical equipment fitting out to provide all the necessary medical care to adults and children. At the end of the meeting, the experts gave a positive assessment of medical institutions' activities in Chistopol. They noted the high level of maternity and childhood care provided in local departments.

The Department of Medical and Social Assistance functions in the city's polyclinic. It services four districts: Chistopol'sky, Alekseevskiy, Alkeevskiy, and Rybno-Slobodskiy.  Specialists such as psychologists, narcologists, social workers, gynecologists, and adolescent pediatricians assist the local population. The children and adolescent care is both interdepartmental and anonymous, encouraging children to trust medical professionals. Specialists of the Department carry out organizational work on early identification, collecting information, analyzing the causes and factors of social disadvantage, and follow up work with families.

An office of Medico-Social and Legal Support for women planning pregnancy and expectant mothers, both in a crisis or are under threat to physical and mental abuse, functions based on Women's Consultation Clinic.
