Civil defense events were held in Nizhnekamsk
In Nizhnekamsk, events were held as part of the all-Russian command and staff exercise on civil defense. Emergency medical teams and the headquarters of the civil defense and emergency situations of the Nizhnekamsk Central Regional Multifunctional Hospital took part in the command and staff training.
According to the scenario, an emergency occurred in the LENTA shopping center. At 10.00, all special services of the city received a signal from the unified dispatcher service, which reported that a fire had started in the shopping center on Lesnaya street. All operational services immediately went to the scene of the emergency. In particular, two ambulance crews arrived at the scene of a crisis. Visitors to the shopping center were urgently evacuated. According to the scenario, four people were injured at the site. One of them died before the ambulance arrived. The condition of two more people was assessed as moderate; another visitor to the shopping center was slightly injured and was referred to a psychologist, who also arrived at the emergency scene to help the victims.
"Our task is to quickly and competently provide first aid and, if necessary, deliver the patient to the hospital. First, we assessed the victim's condition, performed antidote therapy for poisoning with combustion products, performed 100% oxygen inhalation and monitoring of vital functions, and organized medical evacuation. In such situations, we act according to the standards of medical care," said Sergey Makarov, a paramedic of the Paramedic Service Center of the city's hospital.
Another medical team was sent to the Vakhitovsky ring to participate and conduct training on a mobile heating and nutrition center's deployment. At the final formation, the actions of the teams of the emergency medical care station of the NCRMH were highly evaluated.
